Direct answer

Can I repair a PDF that will not open?

A PDF can sometimes be repaired when its pages are still readable but its internal structure or index has a simple error. PDFUAE rewrites the readable file into a new copy in your browser. It cannot recreate missing pages, complete a partial download or bypass encryption.

How it works

Finish the task without unnecessary steps

Rebuild readable structure or recover renderable pages. Open the tool above, choose your file and follow the settings shown. PDFUAE creates a new result and leaves the original unchanged.

Can every damaged PDF be repaired?

No. Missing bytes, unreadable pages and encrypted files cannot be reconstructed falsely.

What changes in raster recovery?

Recovered pages become images, so searchable or editable text is lost.
